The title of this film could be a sly remark on just how frequent zombie films seem to crop up these days. As a fan of the genre I have a pretty high tolerance for them, but there has been some shit offerings the past couple of years. Thankfully, French film La Horde opts to tear through any risks of unoriginality by being short, fast, gruesome, action packed and ridiculous. The film is about ninety minutes long, about twenty minutes worth is taken up by dialogue. The rest is non-stop killing zombies, being killed by zombies and attempting to prolong not being killed by zombies. Who could resist?
